We make one thing — and that focus is the point.
The Interlock® aluminum roof: interlocked panels manufactured by Interlock Roofing Ltd., locked on all four edges, fastened out of the weather. This site exists for the homeowner searching for where to buy that roof in Florida — someone comparing manufacturers, not just contractors. You buy the roof from the program; a certified Interlock installer, assigned to your project, puts it on.
Florida is hard on a roof in its own particular ways. The building code asks for design wind speeds from roughly 130 mph in the Panhandle to 170 and above in the far south under ASCE 7-22. Salt rides the air on both coasts, and aluminum contains no iron and cannot rust. The I-4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando is the state's hail hotspot, and this roof carries a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating tested by Delta Building Products. The sun does the rest, which is what the CRRC-rated reflective finishes are for. Every roof carries the Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty, which transfers once when you sell.

Interlock Roofing Ltd. makes the roof: aluminum 3105-H24 / 3003-H24 to ASTM B209, roughly 95% recycled content, finished in the Alunar® 70% PVDF coating system certified to AAMA 2605 and carrying a 30-year finish warranty, in CRRC-rated colors. Interlock Roofing of America is the manufacturer's U.S. program that brings that roof to Florida.
One approval
Florida Product Approval FL7263-R7 under the FBC 8th Edition covers the Shingle/Slate (nail strip and nail tab), Diamond, Shake and Hidden-Fastener Tile profiles, tested to UL 1897, UL 580 and TAS 125, with design pressures from −30.0 to −187.5 psf depending on profile and fastening. It is a non-HVHZ approval: Miami-Dade and Broward counties are not served (the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone).
One installer per project
We certify independent, Florida-licensed roofing contractors on the system, and a certified Interlock installer is assigned to your project. The installer holds the DBPR roofing licence, pulls the permit under their own licence, and signs the workmanship agreement with you. Certified means certified by the manufacturer on this system — it is not a state certification.
What we cannot show you yet
There is no published Florida project record on this site, because there is not yet an honest one to publish. What we can show you is the product approval, the test reports, the warranty document and the coating certification — and we would rather point you at those than at another region's roofs.

A Florida product approval you can look up
FL7263-R7 is on the Florida Building Commission's product approval register. It lists the covered profiles, the fastening schedules, the tested standards (UL 1897, UL 580, TAS 125) and the design pressures — −30.0 to −187.5 psf by profile and fastening. Check it before you let any metal roof onto a Florida deck, this one included.
One product, described accurately
Interlocking aluminum panels with concealed fasteners, locked on all four edges. Aluminum contains no iron and cannot rust — which matters on both Florida coasts, where salt air is the clock on a steel roof. Warranted wind resistance is 120 mph when installed to manufacturer specification. Class A fire rating is available as a complete assembly over GAF VersaShield (ICC-ES ESR-2053) — the classification belongs to the assembly, never to a panel.
No borrowed proof

A warranty that transfers
The Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty covers the original homeowner for life and transfers once to the next owner, who is covered to 50 years from substantial completion — register the transfer within 60 days. Hail coverage runs to 1.5-inch stones. Read the exclusions before you sign; we would rather you heard the limits from us than from the document.

Who is Interlock Roofing of America?
The manufacturer's U.S. program for the Interlock® aluminum roof, under Interlock Group. It manufactures and supplies the roof, certifies independent Florida-licensed installers, assigns a certified Interlock installer to each project, and backs the Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty.
Do you install the roof yourselves?
No. A certified Interlock installer is assigned to your project — a Florida-licensed independent roofing contractor, trained and certified by the manufacturer on this system. The installer pulls the permit under their own licence and signs the workmanship agreement with you.
Do you hold a Florida roofing licence?
The program holds no Florida roofing licence, and does not need one, because it does not install. The assigned installer holds a DBPR roofing licence under Chapter 489, and that licence — not ours — is what appears on your permit. Certified means certified by the manufacturer, not by the state.
Which parts of Florida do you serve?
Florida outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Miami-Dade and Broward counties are not served (the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone) — FL7263-R7 is a non-HVHZ approval. Monroe County sits at roughly 170–180 mph design wind in Exposure D and is reviewed case by case.

Why aluminum on a Florida house?
Salt and heat. Both coasts put salt in the air, and aluminum contains no iron and cannot rust — steel warranties commonly exclude roughly the first 1,500 feet of shoreline. Reflective, CRRC-rated finishes shed solar heat through a long cooling season. And much of the peninsula's housing is concrete block framed for shingle weight, which carries aluminum without structural work.
