Cookie Policy and Consent Tool

Effective Date: August 27, 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on metalroofingflorida.com, operated by Interlock Roofing of America, and how our consent tool works. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and script-based identifiers. We group them by purpose so you can choose which ones run.
2. The Three Purposes
Functional (always on). Required for the Site to work and to remember your consent choices. These cannot be switched off through the banner because the Site does not function without them. They include the Cloudflare security and performance cookies, the consent-preference cookie set by our banner, and the session data the embedded Zoho quote form needs to submit your request and record which page it came from (form attribution).
Analytics (off until you accept). Google Analytics 4, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, tells us which pages are visited, how visitors move through the Site, and which sources bring them here. IP addresses are truncated by Google. Under Google Consent Mode v2 the analytics_storage flag is set to “denied” until you accept; before consent, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated pings.
Marketing and Advertising (off until you accept). Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, also loaded through Zaraz. These cookies let us measure whether an advertisement led to a quote request and show our advertisements to prior visitors on Google services. The ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization flags are “denied” until you accept. Under some state privacy laws this category may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.”
We do not use social-media pixels, session-replay tools, or third-party data brokers.
3. The Consent Banner
Our banner runs on Cloudflare Zaraz. On your first visit it offers “Accept all,” “Reject all,” and “Manage preferences.” No analytics or marketing tag fires until you accept, and closing the banner without choosing is treated as a rejection. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for 12 months, after which we ask again.
4. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out from Analytics and Marketing cookies for that browser without showing the banner. A GPC signal overrides any earlier acceptance recorded in that browser.
5. Consent Receipts
Each time you make or change a choice, we store a consent receipt in Cloudflare D1 containing the timestamp, the choices made, the version of the banner text you saw, and a salted hash of your IP address. We keep receipts for 24 months so we can prove what consent was given if asked. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP address.
6. How to Change Your Choices
You can reopen the preference panel at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the Site footer, or by visiting the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. You can also clear cookies in your browser, which will cause the banner to appear again, or enable GPC. To opt out of Google advertising personalization across the web, use Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. Opting out of Analytics or Marketing cookies does not affect your quote request or any contact you have already asked for.
